About

Minnie Madden

Everyone who knows or meets Minnie Madden is immediately taken with her vibrant charisma, offbeat attitude towards life, and unique sense of style.

A scholarship with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company in NYC marked the beginning of a professional dance career that included the ballet company at Radio City Music Hall under the direction of Peter Gennaro, CBS Emmy awards-(choreographed by Michael Peters), NBC AGVA awards, Ballet Players, plus principal dancer for varied touring and Las Vegas shows.

Minnie began her choreography and directing career soon after, and has choreographed stage, TV, video and film. Her credits include choreographing the opening acts for the Sahara Girls and working with such notable stars as Johnny Carson, George Carlin, Buddy Hackett, Frank Sinatra jr. A few of her other credits include the Iris Awards starring Lou Rawls, “Curtain Call” feature film, and the musical “Applause” starring Phyllis McGuire.

A short time later, Minnie began using her artistic talents on another stage … ice. Quickly becoming known for her innovative style, she was offered the opportunity to choreograph and direct the NBC special “Nutcracker on Ice” starring Brian Boitano, Oksana Baiul, and Vicktor Petrenko, Ice Capades/ MGM Studios “The Magic of MGM,” and “Christmas in Toyland,” and Ice Capades/ Warner Bros. “Looney Tunes on Thin Ice” and “Batman and Robin In the Big Freeze.” She went on to serve as President of Productions for Ice Capades 1996-97.

More recently, Minnie produced, directed and choreographed the ice shows: “Le Chateau Dracula” and “Ice Cold Terror” at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA. She has also produced circus/dance shows, including “Riptide,” and “Starlight, Starbright.” Her dance-shows, “Livin’ In America,” “Vroom,” “Point & Click”,“The Big Easy,”and “Get Ready,” are currently being seen on Carnival Cruise Lines.

Seeing a dire need for audition information in Las Vegas, Minnie also founded Dirt Alert (eventually renamed CallBack) an innovative and one-of-a-kind audition and news magazine that focused on helping show business people of all disciplines get jobs, and launched her into the publishing business.

MadMeat allows Minnie to exercise her love of art and all its forms, in highly visual-and often times outrageous—ways, breaking down boundaries that separate the many styles of photography and taking the viewer on a joyride of artistic expression. It’s Minnie’s newest step on the stage of creativity.

Chuck Rounds

A virtual Renaissance man for the modern age, photographer extraordinaire Chuck Rounds is co-founder of MADMEAT Photography and brings with him years of well-rounded experience in the many genres of photography, from weddings, commercial and editorial work to family portraits, fashion, and entertainer headshots and portfolios. Chuck’s work melds that perfect mix of visual art, technical expertise, and theatrical and inventive thinking into stunning photos.

The images are underscored and permeated, however, with his extensive background in theater. Photos tell stories, and so does the world of the stage across its many different disciplines.

Armed with both an MFA from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in theater from the University of California Santa Barbara, Chuck has forged a prolific and enviable career as an Equity actor, director, playwright, screenwriter, scenic and lighting designer, theater technician, fight instructor, and manager in a host of university, college, repertory and regional theaters throughout the U.S. As an educator, he has been a professor/instructor at the University of Alabama, the University of Montevallo, and the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) in Las Vegas, among many others.

While not for the faint hearted, the world of Las Vegas entertainment was a natural fit for Chuck when he moved here in 1996. Within the Vegas milieu, Chuck continued a vibrant livelihood that was transformed by a serendipitous meeting with Minnie Madden in 2004.

Entering into the fold of Minnie Madden Productions as producer/director and also Editor of Minnie’s CallBack Entertainment News, Chuck’s talents came to the fore in his work with continuous MMP productions that ran the gamut of theme parks, special events and trade shows, circus and cirque shows, and the stages of Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

In this new venture of MADMEAT, Chuck continues to tell stories for the senses. From the bold and brash to the blithe and beautiful, Chuck creates visual art by bringing it to life!
